The REOFFENDERS

Punk Rock: Classic and Modern

The REOFFENDERS are on an indefinite break. Never say never, but we currently have no plans to play. However, we had joy and we had fun... and we blogged about it. Enjoy reading and reliving some good times.

Now That's What It's All About!!!!

What an amazing night last night!

We arrived at the Bowling Green to find it busier than normal, possibly to do with the bank holiday the next day and possibly because Mel from The Makeouts had got all of her mates down for their support slot.

Anyway, by the time the Makeout took to the stage, the place was packed shoulder to shoulder. Paul and I made sure we got our priorities in order and sorted out our beer roadies. Cheers to Marnie and Dave for that :-)

We'd decided to do one set, the first time we've ever attempted that and it worked really well. We rocked the place with people jumping around and singing along. With so many people, it was very hot and sweaty.

At the end of our set, we got permission to do another 3 songs as an encore including "So What", specially requested by Makeouts Kate. Then when the audience still wanted more, we finished with our one and only REOFFENDERS original - Bad Girl, Naughty Girl, Back in Your Box.

A truly awesome night. Thanks to everyone for coming. Cheers to The Makeouts and to Greg for doing the sound.

Dig That Groove Baby!

Last time we played at the Bowling Green, we were asked if we did any Toy Dolls songs. No, we said but I am very familiar with them seeing as we both come from Sunderland. I've pestered and haragued the rest of the guys and last night we practiced "Dig That Groove Baby" for the first time together! Rockin!

So we return to the Bowling Green this Thursday with it in the set, hoping that our skinhead friend will be back to see us ;-)
