Punk Rock: Classic and Modern

The REOFFENDERS are on an indefinite break. Never say never, but we currently have no plans to play. However, we had joy and we had fun... and we blogged about it. Enjoy reading and reliving some good times.

A Busy Bank Holiday!

We continued our busy weekend with a late booking at the Longbrooke in Exeter. It's a great venue for live music and its nice that we consistently fill the place and get a good reception. My favourite moment was the guy in the Ministry Tshirt headbanging to Seasons in the Sun.

Bully had his monitor and mic stand flattened once again but not through drunkeness....twas a balloon accident! A nice lady was dancing in front of the band and lost her footing through shock when a load of red balloons came her way.

Sunday night was back at the Vintage. The gig had been moved indoors and we were a bit sad about that... until the heavens opened at about 8pm and suddenly we were very glad to be inside. As usual, the Vintage massive pogoed like gooduns from start to finish. Well done to Steve for getting away from the bar for a few minutes during Seasons in the Sun, cheers to Dave for bringing some Exeter people up to Wellington (I told you it was mad, didn't I!) and to Nigel for moshing like a mad thing all night ;-)

Do we really have to wait till August to see you again? Apparently so, but we will be in the gardens next time hopefully so I want everyone in Wellington doing sunshine dances, ok?
