Hoover, Indesit and I went to Exeter Phoenix last night (with Si Cillet-Bang! who was home from Dorset for the weekend) to see the mighty Skindred. Skindred were great as always but the show was stolen a little by one of the support bands, Exeter based Sanguine.
They're a female fronted metal band who were also visually good to watch as well as musically. Their vocalist has an amazing voice from sweet melodic to full on screaming whilst the guitarist had great complimenting backing vocals.
Go and listen at Sanguine's Myspace. Your ears will love you for it. My favourites: War Song and Tonight
