The REOFFENDERS

Punk Rock: Classic and Modern

The REOFFENDERS are on an indefinite break. Never say never, but we currently have no plans to play. However, we had joy and we had fun... and we blogged about it. Enjoy reading and reliving some good times.

A Jolly Night at the Porter

We were at the Jolly Porter in Exeter on Saturday. As promised, we delivered a different set but we did repeat the newer songs to get them bedded in. They certainly felt alot better from my perspective after just those two gigs.

Indesit was feeling all excited with new toys. His Ibanez guitar has been in Mansons for the last couple of weeks getting a Bareknuckle Nailbomb pickup fitted. Nope, I don't know what that means either but he assures me that it's very good (but yes, he's right, it does squeal like a goodun now). He's had his Ibanez for about 15 years and it was nice to see it being first choice again.

Nice lady, Louise, was celebrating her birthday and danced with her friends all night, right down the front. By the time the balloons came out, they were getting downright silly with each of them stuffing balloons up their clothes in new and interesting ways. Made me laugh!

There was one guy at the front who was going mental at every song right from the start, including dancing on a table. When we did Antipope, I thought his head was going to explode! I knew that that song wouldn't be known by very many people but the ones that do know it, would go wild. I had a little smug moment, knowing that I was right ;-)

It was a really nice vibe on Saturday with new people still finding us. Thanks - we had a great time!
