What a great night last night at The Union Inn with "Too Hot"... so much good stuff, hardly know where to start...

The Pub - Fantastic!

The back of the Union Inn has just been refurbished into a cracking venue for bands, parties, just about anything. We had a great stage and lights. And to cap it all off there were over a dozen real ales out the back to inaugurate the newlook Union. Morphy-Richards reported the beer was "excellent" and the best she'd had in a long time - she proved this by returning to the bar more regularly than a Sunderland keeper goes into the back of the net.

REOFFENDERS - another triumph

People sure seemed to like the Hoover antics and it was certainly a big laugh to have a radio-mike and run all over the room! Cheers to Dave the landlord for promising to book us again for a proper gig - you can be sure Morph will be chasing you up for that.

Too Hot - tight as a tight thing that's really tight

These guys are brilliant. I've not seen them since this time last year when they headlined at BMAD. Bouncing is what they are. You can't stand still with them up there giving it large with those ska toons. Now ageing ol' Hoover will happily admit to being a big Two-Tone fan way back so i think i knows me ska - these boys do it right and good.

...and it was an auspicious night when the famed Bethy Bosch stepped out to see the REOFFENDERS for the first time ever... cos before she was up there with us on the Bass - and we did Toy Dolls just for her... have a safe trip back to Leeds, Bethy and Lou x
