Mr Hoover and I went out again last night looking for prospective gig venues. We found the website of The Bottle Inn which reported good beer and food, free camping on gig nights and the gigs listed showed that they were quite up for abit of Punk.
So off we trotted to Marshwood in Dorset (only about 40 minutes in the car) and had a really nice meal washed down with a good pint of Otter before we retired to the back room to play pool. The room at the back is a really nice size, and has a pool table and a big TV for football watching (that'll keep Mr Indesit happy). Hiding behind a curtain at the back of the room was a good sized stage area with ceiling mounted stage lights. It was obvious that the landlord appreciates his music.
Fingers crossed we'll get a gig there. It's a very peachy little spot.
